Book To Movie | Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (2016)

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs
As you all probably know, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children is turned into a movie directed by the one and only Tim Burton! The movie will be released in March 2016, in most countries I think (more release dates/countries here). The film is in the making and Ransom announced the other day that he and Tahereh are going to visit the movie set in a few days. Very exciting! :)

Some of the characters have been casted and I'm very pleased with the choices so far. Asa Butterfield is perfect as Jacob (by his look at least, I haven't seen him act) in my opinion, same with Eva Green as Miss Peregrine. Samuel L. Jackson is a very good actor and I can't wait to see him in the movie. I will write more about this in the future when there is more information about everything. Sounds good? This is what IMDb says about the movie:
16-year-old Jacob follows clues that take him to a mysterious island, where he discovers the crumbling ruins of Miss Peregrine's School for Peculiar Children. As Jacob explores the abandoned bedrooms and hallways, he discovers that its former occupants were far more than peculiar; they possessed incredible powers. And they may still be alive.

  2. Oh, vad spännande! Jag har fingrat på boken men inte läst den än. Är däremot ett stort fan av Eva Green (och Samuel L. Jackson, vem är inte det?) så det här kan ju inte bli annat än bra!
